Google Drive updates three new functions

Asked by thousands of users, Google Drive updates finally and there are three new features in its new functions.

“Use the “Sort” button next to the search bar to arrange files in your Drive list by their title, or by when you last opened an item.” The update is available now and includes some “under the hood stability improvements.” This means that the search giant likely tweaked the app’s software to allow Google Drive to run faster or more efficiently.

Another feature Google Drive updates is find and replace. Why word processing on a tablet is a frustrating experience compared to a PC, the biggest reason has been the absence of "find and replace" — the feature that lets you search a document for a word or phrase and, if you so desire, replace it with another. Finally it's available in the free Google Drive apps for both iOS and Android, and it's pretty easy to use. At the top of each document, you'll see a magnifying glass icon; tap it to open the search text box and, on tablets, a replace text box (on smaller devices, you'll need to select replace options from a drop-down menu).

In the meantime, Apple also quietly added find and replace to Pages for mobile when it updated the app for iOS7 — but that app is only for Apple devices, and the feature is a little trickier to find (it's tucked away in the Tools menu).

At last, google also changed the interface of Google Drive slightly, moving the location of buttons for creating a new document and making the Scan feature more prominent. Scan allows Google Drive users to scan documents as .pdf files and store them in the app.
