Easter 2014, how did you celebrate it?

This year, Easter Day is on April 20 and people around the world celebrate the festival by their own ways. Because Easter Day means the resurrection of Jesus, people are really excited to celebrate it.

Marking Christianity's most hopeful day, Pope Francis made an Easter Sunday plea for peace and dialogue in Ukraine and Syria, for an end to terrorist attacks against Christians in Nigeria and for more attention to the hungry and neediest close to home.

Many Easter traditions stem directly from Christian symbolism, dealing with Christ and the resurrection, while others come from pagan rites of Spring.

For Christians, Easter celebrates both the day Jesus rose from the dead and the end of the fast of Lent. Renewal and rebirth are major themes of Easter, and many of these traditions began before the birth of Christ. The prominence of the egg is a symbol of that rebirth. Likewise, the tradition of eating lamb on Easter probably comes from the availability of the first lamb of the season, which historically came to market around the time of Easter.

What would you do and what did you do on Easter day? Did you watch the latest movies as me? I use blu-ray player in my mac and I really enjoy it.
