The battle between smartphone and dumbphone
never stop. Smartphone develops fast since its birth and in Q2, it overtook
dumbphone sales finally.
According to Gartner’s report, “smartphone sales exceeded feature phone sales for
the first time. Android has been strangling the life out of dumbphones for
years, but it looks like the market tipping point is being reached.”
During the
second quarter, worldwide smartphones sales rose to 225 million units shipped,
while dumbphones declined to 210 million units.
This a
really a great time for smartphones and it is a trend to own a smartphone.
